About Us

Ballancourt is a family business founded by David and Michelle Marshall in 2003. After having lived in France for over 30 years – 15 of which were spent selling British food to the French and Belgians – they moved to Dorset.  With a wealth of knowledge and an ingrained love of good food they now supply delicatessens, farm shops, butchers and other independent retailers all over Great Britain with superb tasting, quality, traditional French produce. Their son Jean-David, joined them in the company in 2004.

“Although we supply a varying range of products, we are probably best known for our extensive and ever-growing selection of pâtés, terrines and rillettes. From handmade duck pâté with juniper berries to pike terrine with tarragon, and wild boar pâté to courgette terrine with fresh herbs, there is something for everybody – meat lovers and vegetarians alike.”

“All our products can be supplied under the Ballancourt brand. However, we specialize in designing and printing private labels at no extra cost. We have excellent products and want our customers to be proud to put them on their shelves.”
